What we are building
ProfitMaths is an independent collection of business calculators and plain-English guides. The goal is to turn common pricing questions into useful decisions: what to charge, what a discount really costs, how many sales are needed and where break-even sits.
How calculations are produced
Our calculators use standard arithmetic and finance formulas shown on the relevant calculator pages. Inputs are processed in your browser. We aim to explain formulas and assumptions so you can understand the result rather than treating it as a black box.
Editorial approach
We favour original explanations, worked examples and practical caveats. Where a topic depends on tax rules or regulation, you should verify the current position with the relevant official authority or a qualified professional.
